ZTE’s Zmax and Zmax 2 could soon be joined by a Zmax Pro, according to a new report from Venture Beat. The Zmax Pro will have the largest display in the lineup at 6 inches (Full HD) and will be powered by the Snapdragon 617 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz. A fingerprint sensor will also be part of the package, and the phone is set to run Android Marshmallow out of the box.
Other specs are pegged to include 32GB of internal storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Pricing isn’t known, but it is expected to be somewhere in the affordable segment similar to previous Zmax handsets. Venture Beat notes that T-Mobile will be carrying the Zmax Pro in the US, but there is no word on which other markets would get the handset (China will likely be one of the launch markets, however).
