We recently saw the ZTE Axon 2 getting certification from China’s telecom authority TENAA, with the device sporting a Snapdragon 820 processor and the latest version of the Android operating system. Now, the Axon 2 has been listed online by retailer OppoMart. The listing reveals the phone’s spec sheet and also its price tag.
At $599, the Axon 2 will be far from the cheapest Android smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC, though it is still a good price for the overall specs. These include 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 20-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a fingerprint sensor, and a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. There’s no word on when the handset will go on sale, but it shouldn’t be long now that it has been spotted on an actual retailer’s website.
