Zalman VGA Coolers Review

The ambient room temperature is 20 degrees celsius. In
order to obtain the results under maximum 3D load for the graphics card coolers,
we used the on-die temperature readout to aid us in evaluation. This is
monitored via Dual Display output, with one output showing the temperature
reading on desktop and the other in the 3D application.

We played Quake 4 at 1280×1024 with 4xAA and 16xAF at Ultra
quality settings to stress test the coolers. The stabilized temperature reading
after 20 minutes was taken. A standard heat-sink compound was used for the
comparison, Anabond:
