Lately we have been seeing a steady flow of leaks on Apple’s alleged new iPad Plus model that is expected to debut sometime in March or April this year. A new case allegedly made for the iPad Plus has now been revealed by NoWhereElse.fr who seemed to have caught hold of the case that has been made by a Chinese manufacturer.
The set of leaked images also include a picture that shows the size difference between the iPad Plus case and the case for the current iPad Air 2 model. As you see from the image, the iPad Plus is expected to be significantly bigger than the iPad Air 2. The rumors of a 12.9-inch display do seem to be accurate if the case is indeed the real deal.
Recent rumors about the new iPad model have pointed to the use the ‘Plus’ moniker and an optional stylus that could be offered with the tablet. The tablet is still reportedly on track for a reveal by early Q2 this year, which will make it the second big Apple product announcement of the year.
Even though not much is known about the iPad Plus, it is expected to include the Apple A8X chipset with 2GB RAM, 16/64/128GB storage options, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G LTE connectivity.
