Xiaomi co-founder Liwan Jiang today revealed that the company is all set to offer a 4000 Yuan ($600) flagship smartphone this year.
While the executive didn’t reveal any info about the device itself, it is being speculated that the device being referred to could be the rumored Mi Note 2 with a dual-curved edge display. Jiang did mention though, that despite being priced at a relative premium, it would still be great value for money.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is rumored to arrive in multiple memory configurations and two different displays depending on the variant. The base variant is rumored to sport a 1080p resolution display while the top end variant will boast of a dual-curved edge Quad HD resolution display with Force Touch technology. Other rumored specs of the phablet include dual 12MP cameras at the back, fingerprint scanner, and a 4000mAh capacity battery with fast charging technology.
