Xiaomi Redmi Pro gets caught on camera ahead of official unveiling

Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2

Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Pro has been leaked yet again, this time in alleged live images that re-confirm the presence of a dual-camera setup at the back.

Since the Redmi Pro will have a dual camera setup at the back, the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the front, as can be seen in the shot of the device’s front. In addition to the leaked live images, the company’s CEO Lei Jun made a post on Weibo earlier today confirming that the Redmi Pro is going to be powered by the MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core chipset. The company had also revealed in a teaser published recently that the smartphone will feature an OLED display.

The Redmi Pro will be officially announced at Xiaomi’s media event next week on the 27th. Apart from the Redmi Pro, Xiaomi is also expected to unveil its first notebook at the same event.
