Right before tomorrow’s official announcement, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 2 has been leaked today in a set of spy shots. Along with the pictures, complete spec-sheet as well as the pricing of the smartphone have been laid bare.
The Redmi Note 2 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek MT6795M octa-core 64-bit SoC clocked at 2.2GHz. It will pack a 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 resolution display, a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 16GB expandable memory, and a 3,020mAh capacity battery.
While the above specs are quite impressive, it is being rumored that Xiaomi could unveil a more premium variant of the Redmi Note 2 with more powerful internals and 3GB RAM.
The regular variant is expected to be priced at 699 Yuan ($100), while the more expensive premium variant could cost 999 Yuan ($155).
