A report published by Indian publication The Indian Express claims Xiaomi will debut the Redmi 3s in the Indian market next week.
The Redmi 3s was made official in China last month and hasn’t been launched in any other major market outside China yet. Its launch in India is expected to give Xiaomi a major push in the entry-level smartphone segment. The pricing for the Indian market hasn’t been revealed yet, but we do expect it be priced below the Rs.10000 mark.
The smartphone packs a 5-inch 720p HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC, 13MP primary camera, 5MP selfie camera, and an impressive 4100mAh capacity battery. As for memory, the Redmi 3s is offered in two configurations – 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM. It boots MIUI 7, which is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
