Xiaomi Redmi 2A “enhanced” with 2GB RAM & 16GB storage, still costs $78

Redmi2A Enhanced

Xiaomi has updated its highly popular Redmi 2A handset with the release of a new “enhanced” version.

The new Redmi 2A enhanced version ups the RAM to 2GB and the onboard memory to 16GB. That’s twice higher RAM and internal storage compared to the original Redmi 2A variant released earlier this year. Surprisingly, Xiaomi has announced that the new model will be sold at the same $78 price tag of the Redmi 2A.

Rest of the device’s specifications are similar to the Redmi 2A. You get a 4.7-inch 720 x 1280 resolution display, Leadcore LC1860 quad-core SoC, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and a 2200mAh capacity battery.

The new Redmi 2A enhanced version will be going on sale in China starting November 11th.
