Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro rumored to pack Snapdragon 821 SoC & 6GB of RAM

Along with the rumored Mi Note 2, Xiaomi apparently has the Mi Note 2 Pro in the works as well.

According to a new rumor, the Mi Note 2 Pro will be a beast with top end hardware. It will apparently feature a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, 4 or 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 64/128GB UFS 2.0 storage options, large 3700mAh battery, and a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will also include a 12MP camera at the back, using the same sensors used in the Galaxy S7. The optics will be quite different though, with an f/2.0 aperture lens and four-axis OIS.

The display is said to be supplied by AU Optronics and not Samsung. The panel reportedly boasts of up to 500 nit maximum brightness, RGB sub-pixel layout, and 96% AdoveRGB color gamut coverage. As per the source of this rumor, Xiaomi could announce the Mi Note 2 Pro in the second half of August.
