Xiaomi today revealed that the Gold Edition of its latest flagship smartphone will go on sale on April 29.
The new Gold Edition will be available in two variants, a standard version and a slightly more expensive version with superior specifications. The standard version features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The second variant features a higher clocked variant of the Snapdragon 820 (2.15GHz) with 3GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage.
The standard version has been priced at 1,999 Yuan ($305), while the more expensive version has been priced at 2,299 Yuan ($355). In addition to the Gold Edition, Xiaomi announced that a White variant of the Mi 5 Pro will also go on sale on the 29th, carrying a 2,599 Yuan price tag ($400).
