Even though Vivo hasn’t officially announced the X9 and X9 Plus yet, promotional posters for the duo have started to appear in markets in China. One such poster has been leaked online, revealing the key specs of the two smartphones before their official announcement on November 16th.
The smaller X9 will feature a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution and is going to be powered by the all-new Snapdragon 653 octa-core 64-bit SoC from Qualcomm. In terms of memory, the smartphone will include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the front, the X9 will sport a dual camera setup for selfies, with a 20MP and an 8MP sensor. The primary camera at the back will be a 16MP unit. Keeping the lights on will be a decent 3050mAh battery.
The bigger X9 Plus on the other hand is going to sport a 5.88-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution display. It too is going to be powered by the same Snapdragon 653 chipset, but with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. In the camera department as well, the X9 Plus will be identical to its smaller sibling. Some rumors had hinted at a dual camera setup at the back too on the X9 Plus, but that is not going to be the case. What will be different however, is the battery capacity. The bigger handset is going to ship with a 4000mAh capacity battery, which should allow it to deliver impressive battery stamina.
Both the X9 and X9 Plus will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system at launch, with the company’s custom Android skin on top.
