ViewQwest, a Singapore-based internet service provider (ISP), has today launched Vesta, a smart living and Internet of Things (IoT) subscription-based platform.

Debuting on the company’s new Vesta service is Vesta Shield, a connected monitoring service for residences and offices, which provides round-the-clock overwatch with sensors that can detect unexpected movement and the opening of doors.
These sensors interface wirelessly with a central Vesta hub that processes the data, sending a notification to the user via Vesta app, SMS or automated call should unexpected activity be detected.
A loud, shrill alarm can also be primed to be emitted when intrusions are detected, alerting house or office occupants as well as deterring trespassers from further activity.
Vesta Shield closely involves users by triggering an alarm should alert notifications go unacknowledged. The platform also allows for multiple users and contacts in an escalation list should no action be taken by more primary stakeholders.

The Vesta hub will also serve to interface additional Vesta products slated in the pipeline.
In partnership with digital security leader Trend Micro, ViewQwest will also offer a Home Network Security subscription service from November 2019. Acting as an additional layer of protection for home networks, it will also serve to protect Vesta IoT devices along with computers, mobile phones and other devices connected to the network.

Vesta Shield starts at SGD 25 per month with one-timeSGD 80 activation fee for the basic Starter bundle. It will also be available in Essential (SGD 30/mth) and Full Protect (SGD 35/mth) bundles. Each product comes with with different combinations of the Vesta hub, Door/Window Sensor, Trisensor (movement, light and temperature) and Nanomote panic button trigger.
