Vector today announced two new smartwatches that promise to bring a great combination of style and practicality. Named Luna and Meridian, the two smartwatches offer cross-platform compatibility and a claimed 30-day battery life.
The two watches come with a metal body and a choice of leather, metal link, or rubber strap bands. As you can tell from the image, these two smartwatches look very much like a traditional luxury watch and not smartwatches. They are also a lot more durable than the other smartwatches on the market, being water resistant up to 50 meters.
Coming to the smartwatch features, these offer steps, calories and activity, and sleep tracking. They will work with a smartphone running Android, iOS or Windows Phone and show notifications, calendar events, and display RSS news feeds. You also get the option of choosing from a number of watch faces.
Vector will be releasing these two smartwatches by summer this year. The Vector Luna with round dial will go on sale for $350 while the rectangular dial Vector Meridian will be available for a more affordable $200 price-tag.
