New details have surfaced about UMi’s next flagship smartphone the Zero 2. And if these specs are anything to go by, then the Zero 2 will be a much more impressive smartphone than its predecessor.
The smartphone will reportedly feature a 5.2-inch sized Quad HD 1440 x 2560 Super AMOLED display from Samsung with a pixel density of 565 pixels per inch. Powering the UMi Zero 2 will be MediaTek’s flagship Helio X20 deca-core chipset, complemented with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. As can be seen in the render above, the smartphone will come with a premium metal build and does look quite attractive. A high-quality leather back could be offered as well.
At the back, the UMi Zero 2 will pack a dual-camera setup with Lytro-like functionality. But the biggest highlight will be the handset’s price. UMi claims the smartphone will be priced at just $299. Pretty aggressive pricing when you consider the smartphone’s flagship-grade spec-sheet. UMi expects to launch the Zero 2 in Q2 next year.
