Thinnest Windows 10 smartphone goes official in Japan

Japanese OEM Yamada Denki has announced the EveryPhone, world’s thinnest Windows 10 Mobile running smartphone.

The smartphone packs a 5.5-inch 720 x 1280 HD resolution and measures 154.8 x 78.6 x 6.9mm. That’s identical to the razor-thin profile of the Apple iPhone 6s. Under the hood, the handset is equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable internal storage. There is also a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, and a 2600mAh capacity battery inside.

The smartphone will go on sale in Japan starting tomorrow and has been priced at 39,800 Japanese Yen, which is about $385. A Bluetooth keyboard and a screen protector worth $45 will be provided free to the first 3000 buyers. It will be sold through LABI, Best Denki, Tecc Land, Tsukumo, Yamada Mobile, Matsuyadenki, and Yamada’s online store.
