Thermaltake’s new Core P7 TG chassis is 1.35m wide

Core P7 TG

Thermaltake has introduced an interesting new case that might appeal to those of you who have a really large desk and want a case that looks unlike anything else on the market. The case is wall-mountable as well, which would probably make it look even cooler than keeping it on a desk.

The new Core P7 TG from Thermaltake is a monster in terms of size. The case measures 1.35 meters wide at its widest point and weighs in at a whopping 25.5kg. The reason behind the large size is that the case comes with two extended sections that can be used for your liquid cooling setup. Of course, this solution doesn’t provide any real benefit apart from giving the case a unique appearance.

The main case in the middle supports up to E-ATX motherboards, standard PS2 PSUs up to 200mm in length, up to eight 3.5”/2.5” drives for storage, and graphics cards up to 280mm in length with a reservoir installed. You can also install CPU coolers up to 180mm in height without any issues. Front I/O panel includes two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and an HD audio out. You also get 8 expansion slots and support for 3 x 480mm radiators.

The Thermaltake Core P7 TG is now available in major markets around the world. In the US, the case carries an MSRP of $300.
