Thecus today announced the N2810PRO, an upgraded version of the N2810 NAS that it had launched earlier this year.
The new N2810PRO is powered by the new Intel Celeron N3160 quad-core processor and includes 4GB of DDR3 RAM. Like the N2810, the new model is also a 2-bay NAS server that has been designed for home and small office users. It not only provides users with impregnable protection of their data, but also comes with enhanced multimedia playback and 4K video support.
To provide an immersive multimedia experience, the NAS comes with an HDMI as well as DisplayPort output. An SPDIF output is included too, allowing you to enjoy expansive sound through your sound system.
The N2810PRO runs on the latest ThecusOS 7.0 platform with a number of new and improved features such as Photo Station, File Center and the Thecus App Center. The App Center includes a wide variety of apps for modern digital lifestyles.
The Thecus N2810PRO will go on sale next month, with shipping expected to start on June 30th.
