Noctua NHC-14 Review – XSReviews
Description: Today we have a cooler from the award winning Noctua. The NH-C14 is a C-Type cooler meaning it takes up a lot less space above the CPU than the usual tower type coolers while also providing airflow over nearby motherboard components and RAM modules. Included are two of Noctua's NF-P14 FLX fans. It's an impressive package but can it live up to expectations? We'll soon find out…

Zalman CNPS5X CPU Cooler Review @ Tweaknews
Description: If Zalman's new 5X cooler comes to market at the promised $30 pricepoint, this cooler is a very good value. It handled the Q6600 processor and its high thermal output with ease and even at 1400 RPM easily beat the OEM solution in near silence. With support for older Intel and AMD sockets, this cooler would make an excellent replacement for a borked OEM cooler or a good choice when added to a new CPU that doesn't come with a cooling device…

Description: The 500GB Scorpio Black 2.5'' HDD from Western Digital maintains the performance lead ahead of many similar drives on the market with the same capacity. Antec DF-85 Full Tower Case Review at Overclockers Online
Description: Antec set out to re-envision the gaming case with the DF-85 and I would say they were successful as it not only looks good but also is packed with features. MSI N560GTX-Ti GeForce Video Card @ Benchmark Reviews
Description: History always repeats itself, and NVIDIA is hoping for a repeat performance with their new GTX 560 Ti video card. With performance per mm2 and per watt numbers that put the first Fermi chips to shame, the GTX 460 deserves all the success it has enjoyed. Now, they've applied the same tweaks to the GF104 GPU that brought the high-end Fermi cards back from the dead, and we have the new GF114 in place to do battle in the upper mid-market. MSI is also repeating the same steps they used with the GTX 460 to capture the interest of graphics overclocking enthusiasts…

There are tool-less design mechanisms throughout and a whole lot more so lets begin our analysis on this, our first Xigmatek review.

Corsair SP2500 2.1 232W Audio Speaker Kit Review @ Legit Reviews
Description: When the Corsair SP2500 2.1 PC speaker system showed up in the test lab we hooked it up and were shocked to hear our music. We were able to hear details in the audio that we weren't able to make out on our old speaker system. The satellite speakers on the SP2500 are amazing and the midrange audio is crystal clear. Most audiophiles talk about sound separation and having bass that overpowers vocals and we finally get what they were talking about. The Logitech Z-5300 system that we were running appears to have had greatly exaggerated bass and as a result we were actually missing out on the clarity of our audio tracks…

Consumer holographic TV creeps closer to reality
Description: Despite a relatively tepid consumer take-up, the buzz surrounding 3D television is still quite intense. But even the viewing improvements offered by stereoscopic technology may pale by comparison to the holographic goings-on at MIT. Researchers are taking the first steps toward making holographic technology a reality for consumers. Using primarily off-the-shelf components, the team has managed to capture, transmit and display a holographic subject on-the-fly…

Configure Backup and Restore in Windows 7 @ Computing on Demand
Description: In a previous article here on C.O.D. (Essential Windows 7 Tweaks: Part 1), I mentioned it's my opinion that users should disable the system restore features in Windows 7. Outside of the resources associated with running the task, I feel as though it provides a false sense of security for Windows Users and does nothing for users plagued by things worse than failed updates. So what is the answer? Windows 7 comes with Backup and Restore…
