3G has been the anticipated technology for the future and it has arrived finally. I was lucky enough to lay my hands on the Nokia SmartPhone 6630, but I was only given the Handset, Charger and ear piece thus I wasn’t able to fully exploit this wonderful piece of mobile equipment. Actually not many will be able to since the 3G support has not been fully implemented with the many service mobile providers around the world.

The Nokia 6630 supports video conferencing, but with the camera is fitted on the back of the phone, and so how is this phone capable of Video Conferencing? Well the answer lies in a missing piece of accessory that was not provided to me; there is a docking station which comes with camera module that is suppose to be used for Video conference…(so much for being a 3G phone).

This phone supports both WCDMA/GSM operation and tri-band GSM coverage across the five continents (GSM 900/1800/1900 and WCDMA 2100 networks), and thus this really does make the phone stand out of the other phones available in the market now.
