Steam celebrates the release of Big Picture with a huge sale

Steam offers big savings on select controller-friendly titles on the digital marketplace in celebration of the release of Big Picture, allowing gamers to play Steam games on their TV.

The launch of Steam's new Big Picture mode has been met with an exclusive sale on an impressive variety of controller-friendly titles, including such PC favorites as Left 4 Dead 2, Portal 2, and a slew of Indies like Super Meat Boy, Braid, and Bit Trip Runner just to name a few.

This sale offers up to -75% off on select games, with some retail titles of yesteryear offered as low as $4.99.

The bargain coincides perfectly with the release of Steam's Big Picture mode–which allows gamers to play Steam games on their TV–and many of the selected games offer full controller support to deliver that classic couch gaming experience.

The Big Picture Celebration Sale ends at 10 am on Dec. 10, 2012, so get your favorites while they're still on sale today! For more information including what games are included in the sale, please visit Steam's official website.
