Star Wars: Battlefront isn’t coming to PS3 and Xbox 360

EA has made it official that the game Star Wars: Battle front will be coming out during the holiday season this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. Unfortunately, the game will not be coming out for the previous gen PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

Star Wars: Battlefront is the third game in the Star Wars series and is coming out almost a decade after the first two games in the series were launched for the PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox platforms. The game is a first person shooter with an added third-person shooter perspective.

EA has promised to share some more details on the game next month at the Star Wars Celebration fan experience expo in Anaheim, California from April 16-19. The game will be released alongside the upcoming movie Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.

Development of the game is being handled by DICE, while a new open-world Star Wars game is allegedly in the works from Visceral Games.
