The Sony Xperia Z1S has been leaked by @evleaks, and the device will be announced sometime later this year.

Sony launched a mini version of the Xperia Z1 on NTT Docomo, called the Xperia Z1f. It looks like we will see another device in the Z1 line, the Z1S. Superstar mobile leakster @evleaks managed to leak press images of the device, and has mentioned in the tweet that the device will be launched before the end of the year.

The hardware details of the device have not been made public yet. The location of the front camera is different to where it is on the Z1, so this device could be a different variant of either the Z1 or the Z1f. The only hardware difference between the Xperia Z1 and the NTT Docomo Z1f is the screen. The Xperia Z1 comes with a 5-inch full-HD screen whereas the Z1f has a smaller 4.3-inch 720p variant. Other hardware on both devices include a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU, 20.7MP camera with an Exmor RS sensor and a Bionz image processing unit along with a 2.2MP front shooter and a 2,300 mAh battery on the Z1f and a  3,000 mAh offering on the Z1. The Xperia Z1S will also likely come with LTE connectivity, along with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.0.

If Sony is to launch the device by the end of 2013, we should hear official confirmation in the coming weeks.
