Sony Promises Stellar Picture With New OLED, LCD 4K HDR TV Additions

Sony announced on 9 January that they will be releasing the new A8F and X9000F series that promises to deliver top picture quality. Thanks to various Sony technology innovations that snugly fit into their new hardware, stellar motion graphics can be had for a mere trip to the departmental store.

A8F Series Joins the Ranks of Sony’s OLED Television Lineup

Adding to Sony’s established 4K OLED television series is their A8F Series. Sony announced that the new series will be equipped with the 4K HDR image processor, X1 Extreme, along with Sony’s proprietary Acoustic Surface technology. The new X1 Extreme promises to deliver an incredibly detailed picture with rich, deep blacks, realistic colours, and a wider viewing angle. With the A8F containing 8 million OLED pixels, Sony ensures that it will have unparalleled 4K HDR picture with stunning resolution.

Thanks to Acoustic Surface technology, the A8F Series follows Sony’s previous OLED television series where the sound is output directly out of the TV screen. This makes Sony’s OLED series a  welcome addition to its lineup as it delivers both exceptional picture quality with top-notch audio. Both technologies work hand-in-hand to deliver immersive and seamless integration of image and audio that is exclusive to Sony.

LCD TVs Get Some Love

Sony also announced that the X9000F Series of the BRAVIA 4K LCD TVs will be released to suit consumers’ need for large screen premium 4K HDR televisions. They will also come with X1 Extreme and will be available in 85’’, 75’’, 65’’, 55’’ and 49’’ sizes. The X9000F series will also come with their new technology: the X-Motion Clarity.

The new X-Motion Clarity technology will allow action scenes to be clear and smooth through precisely controlled images, minimizing blur. With their whooping large screen size of up to 85-inches, viewing action or sports content would be a whole new experience. It also utilizes Sony’s own lightning algorithm to ensure that pictures stay clear and smooth without a loss in brightness.

Some Audio To Go With That?

Sony’s new HT-Z9F and HT-X9000F are also two slim sound bars to match beautifully with your BRAVIA. While supporting the latest audio formats, Dolby Atmos and DTS: X, it is equipped with Sony’ Vertical Surround Engine technology. Both speakers produce 3-dimensional acoustics alone. The HT-Z9F would also be the first soundbar to support Dolby Atmos.
