Sony officially teases the Xperia Z4 Tablet

The tablet will be announced at Mobile World Congress.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet leaked out through a misstep on Sony’s part earlier this week, and now the Japanese manufacturer has taken to Twitter to officially confirm that the tablet will be making an appearance at MWC next week. “Slimmer. Lighter. Brighter. All will be revealed on 02.03.15.” That’s the tagline Sony has used for its teaser, and the tablet in the teaser image pretty much confirms that the Xperia Z4 Tablet will be extremely thin (and lighter and brighter as well).

Unfortunately, the teaser doesn’t bring any info about the Xperia Z4 Tablet’s specs. Reports have pegged the display as having a 2K resolution, but other than that, there’s nothing known about the tablet’s hardware. A Snapdragon 805/810 and 3GB of RAM seem likely, and so does a waterproof (or at least water-resistant) build. It won’t be long before all the official details are announced, though there’s a high probability that everything will be laid out in the open through leaks in the days leading up to the big unveil.
