Sony ‘Lavender’ rumored to debut next month as Xperia T4 Ultra

Lavender

Earlier this year, few renders and live images of the Sony ‘Lavender’ had leaked online. It looks like the device will finally launch next month, carrying the Xperia T4 Ultra moniker.

The info comes from a Chinese forum that had a decent track record with Xperia leaks in the past. As we reported earlier, the Lavender carries the model number E5503 and will be a mid-range offering. Based on earlier rumors, the device will pack a 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD IPS display and come with Mediatek’s MT6752 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.7 GHz.

Other specs of the smartphone include 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, and dual-SIM support. And although it hasn’t been confirmed, we would expect that Sony will launch the Xperia T4 Ultra with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
