Sony once again announces a pink Xperia Z5

Sony launches the pink Xperia Z5 in Japan

Sony has launched a new pink color variant of its Xperia Z5 flagship… again. The company originally announced the new color option in January, and it has once again “introduced” the pink variant through Twitter. It’s perhaps an announcement of the pink option finally going on sale, but Sony hasn’t mentioned anything about pricing or availability even today, with pink still not listed on the official website.

As noted earlier, the device remains unchanged in terms of what’s inside while offering a new look on the exterior. It features a 5.2-inch Full HD display, octa-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, 3GB of RAM, a 23-megapixel rear camera, a 5.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB of onboard storage, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2,900 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, but an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been available for a month or so.
