Sony Brings Noise Cancelling To Extra Bass Headphone Range

We’ve heard enough raving about Sony’s top dog: the WH-1000XM3 active noise cancelling (ANC) headphones. The brand knows this, and has incorporated active noise cancelling technology with its Extra Bass line of headphones in the Sony WH-XB900N.

Incorporating class-leading noise cancellation in the WH-XB900N wasn’t enough, and Sony has gone ahead to implement some other features from the WH-1000XM3 on it. These include touch controls for track navigation, play, pause and volume, along with the very useful Quick Attention feature that lowers the volume of the music and turns off ANC to enable you to better hear what’s going on around you.

With a 30-hour battery life, the WH-XB900N also incorporates smart assistant support for Google Assistant, Siri and Alexa. They will be available in Blue and Black in July 2019 at a recommended retail price of SGD 349.
