The Xperia XZ2 comes with an extended 5.7” HDR Full HD plus 18:9 display, front-facing stereo speakers (with S-Force Front Surround), and Motion Eye camera which allows for the world’s first 4K HDR movie recording using a smartphone. The Xperia XZ2 Compact has similar features as its bigger brother but comes with a 5” display instead.

One of the most obvious changes in Sony’s design can be seen in the relocation of its fingerprint sensor – traditionally mounted on the side for natural unlocking in the hand or on the table – to one mounted on the back.

Both models ship with Android 8.0 Oreo, and are expected to be available in Singapore from April 2018.
