Snapdragon 820 powered ZUK Z2 rumored to launch in January next year

ZUK
Lenovo backed ZUK launched its first smartphone the ZUK Z1 only a few days back. Even before the company’s first smartphone goes global, rumors about its successor have already started arriving.

According to the report from AndroidHeadlines, the ZUK Z2 could be released in January next year and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. Since ZUK has so decided to focus mainly on the Chinese smartphone market for now and it being relatively unknown as a brand internationally, we do not think the smartphone could be announced at CES. It is more likely that the company could hold a dedicated event for the Z2 in China.

The company’s first smartphone the ZUK Z1 was quite impressive overall in terms of specs, so we expect the Z2 to be even better. Also, seeing how ZUK has priced the Z1 highly competitively, we expect the Z2 to be no different.
