SingTel offers 3G and Wi-Fi version Sony PlayStation Vita with plans

It was about a month ago when Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong launches the PlayStation (PS) Vita at 313 Somerset in Singapore. And today, local telecommunication company SingTel has announced it will be offering the 3G/Wi-Fi model of the handheld game console with attractive price plans.

The Sony PS Vita that was launched in Singapore last month, is the Wi-Fi only version. For those of you who are eagerly waiting for the 3G and Wi-Fi model, here's some good news. SingTel is bringing in the 3G/WiFi version of the PS Vita handheld game console which will begin retailing from 14 April.

Here are the price plans available from SingTel which offer theoretical download speeds of 7.2Mbps and free bundled local data usage. Note that the plans are with 24-month contract.

Customers may pre-order the PS Vita online at http://www.singtel.com/PSVita from 28 March, tomorrow. And as an exclusive bonus, pre-order customers will receive S$20 worth of Sony PlayStation Network credits to purchase games.
