Jewel Changi Airport will soon sport another shiny facet in its world-famous doughnut-shaped premises. Singapore’s second Apple Store, which will open its doors to swathes of fans from Singapore and abroad today (13th July 2019), will offer the wide array of activities, services and products most have come to expect from Apple Stores around the world.
To commemorate the unique opening, Apple has created an exclusive experience called The Magic of Jewel Changi Airport Photo Walk, which taught photography techniques on iPhone and iPad around the stunning Jewel premises. That keeps in strong tune with Apple’s series of Today at Apple workshops conducted at Apple Stores across the world.
Jewel Changi Airport has drawn eyeballs and footfall both from home and abroad with the sheer scale of its architecture, with several firsts – the world’s tallest indoor waterfall as its centrepiece, the Rain Vortex, and the first Pokémon Centre in East Asia outside of Japan. Apple Store Jewel Changi Airport will be the first Apple Store in an airport anywhere in the world – adding yet another notch in Jewel’s torus-shaped belt.
