Silicon Power Releases 480GB V30 SSD

Silicon Power releases its first SATA III solid state drive, Velox series V30 SSD with a capacity of up to 480GB. More details inside.

The SP (Silicon Power) Volex Series V30 SSD is available in 60GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacity, uses a SandForce chip allowing a read speed of 550MB/s and write speed of 500MB/s. It is equipped with DuraWrite and wear leveling, ECC to ensure the product's stability and durability. Other features include a 85,000 IOPS (4K random write) for the 240GB model and 40,000 IOPS (4K random write) for the 480GB model. Silicon Power V30 SSD comes with a three years warranty, 3.5" mounting bracket, weighs 70g and measures 100 x 69.85 x 9.4mm.
