Shuttle has introduced yet another Mini-PC with support for 6th Gen Intel Skylake processors, the new DH170.
The new model is the smallest Skylake compatible Mini-PC that the company has launched so far, with a case volume of just 1.3 litre. While the case may be quite compact and slim, it features a steel body and is claimed to offer maximum protection from mechanical stresses and can withstand ambient temperatures of up to 50 degrees C.
The DH170 barebone is based on the Intel H170 chipset and supports sixth-gen Intel Core/Celeron/Pentium processors up to 65W TDP. There is support for 16GB DDR3L dual-channel memory, a PCIe M.2 solid state drive, and a 2.5” SATA 6 Gbit/s drive. Shuttle DH170 also offers a Mini-PCI-Express expansion slot, opening for WLAN antennas, two Intel Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two DisplayPorts, single HDMI, and two RS-232 ports.
