September 9th iPhone 6s event now officially confirmed by Apple

Turns out all the rumors were accurate after all. Apple has now confirmed that it will be holding an event on September 9 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California to unveil the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

This year’s iPhone event is expected to be one of the biggest yet as the venue has a seating capacity of 7,000 people. The event starts at 10 a.m. PDT on September 9th and will be live streamed on the Apple website. Apart from the iPhone 6s duo, Apple is also expected to unveil the iPad mini 4 and new Apple TV hardware.

The iPhone 6s duo is expected to come with Force Touch, Apple A9 chipset, 2GB RAM, and an upgraded 12MP rear camera with 4K video recording capability.
