Screenshot of Nokia’s Storyteller app for Windows 8 and Windows Phone leaked

Prolific leaker @evleaks has outed two screenshots that show off Nokia’s upcoming Storyteller app, which is expected to debut on Nokia’s Windows RT tablet and 6-inch Lumia phablet.

According to evleaks, Storyteller will be supported on both Windows 8/RT and Windows Phone 8; in fact, the first public appearance of the app was in a screenshot taken from the Lumia 1520, though it was only seen as a Live Tile on the homescreen back then.

Storyteller appears to be an app that will let users catalog their photos according to various categories, including dates, locations, and favorites. There’s even a “Shared” tab, which will likely list all the photos and albums that users have shared with others. The interface looks great, and matches that of Microsoft’s design language for Windows Phone quite well.

Expect Nokia to make a big deal about Storyteller at its October 22nd event, where it will also show off the Lumia 5250 Windows RT tablet and the 6-inch Lumia 1520.
