Sapphire today announced its new Tri-X R9 390X graphics card based on the latest Graphics Core Next architecture from AMD.
The new graphics card offers support for a number of new technologies such as DirectX 12, AMD FreeSync, TrueAudio, Liquid VR, VSR scaling, and support for Ultra HD 4K gaming. Sapphire’s award-winning Tri-X cooling solution is present on the new card, with dual ball bearings in all the three fans. When the card is under light load, the fans are turned off completely by the enhanced Intelligent Fan Control (IFC-II) in order to ensure a silent operation.
The rest of the specs are similar to the standard R9 390X card. It features a total of 2,816 Stream Processors, 8GB GDDR5 memory clocked at 6000 MHz, and a core clock speed of 1055 MHz.
Sapphire Tri-X R9 390X graphics card will be available from the company’s retail partners starting 18th June 2015.
