Samsung SM-T375S 8-inch tablet certified by Bluetooth SIG & Wi-Fi Alliance

Samsung SM-T375S

Samsung may soon debut a new 8-inch Android tablet. The unannounced tablet carries a model number SM-T375S and has received certification from two agencies so far.

The tablet has been certified by both the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and the WiFi Alliance (WFA). The Bluetooth certification was issued on December 24th while the Wi-Fi Alliance certification was issued on December 16th. While the two certifications don’t tell us anything about the tablet except its model number, some details have been uncovered in the Zauba listing for the tablet.

The Indian import tracking portal reveals the tablet was imported to India earlier this month for evaluation purpose and carries an approximate value of Rs.6,792 (about $100). It also confirms that the tablet will carry an 8-inch display. Quite clearly, it is likely that this upcoming tablet will be an entry-level offering and may not really be very impressive in terms of specs.
