South Korean electronics giant Samsung has released an infographic that highlights some of the key features of the Android M update on Samsung devices and also lists the devices that Samsung plans to update to Android M.
The key highlights listed in the infographic include app permissions, tracking memory usage, quick fingerprint access in apps, auto backup, and power saving. Of course, these are just some of the features that will be part of the Samsung Android M update. Several other Android M features are expected to be included as well.
Coming to the list of devices eligible for the update, we find a number of recent high-end devices. The devices that have found a spot in the list are the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Duos, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 4 Duos, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy Alpha, and the Galaxy Tab A. The recently unveiled Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will also no doubt receive the Android M update from Samsung. More devices could be added to the list as well, since this is only an interim list.
