A few weeks ago, it was leaked that Samsung is working on a 12-inch tablet that will be launched sometime in 2014. SamMobile managed to get more information regarding the tablet from an inside source at Samsung, and it looks like along with a 12.2-inch Galaxy Note tablet, Samsung will launch three other tablets in the first quarter of 2014.

The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will feature a model number SM-P900/P905, and will come with 32 GB internal storage. Other details are hazy at the moment, although it has been rumored that the tablet would feature a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600, 3GB RAM and a larger 9,500 mAh battery. The tablet is said to come with Android 4.4 KitKat.

Samsung is also looking to launch Pro versions of the Galaxy Tab 8-inch and 10-inch variants, with the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (SM-T320/T325) and Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (SM-T520/T525) likely coming with better internal hardware when seen against the regular Galaxy Tab offerings. Both the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 will come with 16 GB internal storage by default.

The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 along with the two Galaxy Tab Pro versions will come in Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE versions, and will be available in black and white color combinations.

In addition to these tablets, Samsung is launching a Galaxy Tab 3 Lite that is focused on the budget tablet segment. Samsung is looking to launch the tablet for less than $140. The tablet will come in Wi-Fi only and 3G versions, and will feature a 1.2 GHz processor, a screen with a resolution of 1024×600 and will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The tablt will be launched in a Cream White color combination.

The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will be the first tablet to be launched next year, and will likely be announced sometime during the second week of January. The Galaxy Tab Pro tablets are set to debut later, with a launch date set for mid-February. The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will be the last to arrive, with a launch date scheduled somewhere at the end of February, which is MWC time. Samsung could launch the tablet at the conference in Barcelona, where it is already rumored to launch a host of new mobiles.
