About a week ago, SingTel and Samsung jointly announced that the local operator will be the exclusive carrier for the 7-inch Galaxy Tab Android tablet. However, the pricing was not made known then. Well, SingTel has unveiled the pricing of the Galaxy Tab with accordance to the price plans offered. Read on.

Singapore 9 Nov 2010 – SingTel has unveiled the price plans for the mobile multimedia device (MMD), Samsung Galaxy Tab. Available exclusively through SingTel from 13 November 2010, the telco has offered their 3G Flexi price plans, integrated fixed and mobile broadband package to cater to customers’ varied needs.

Customers will enjoy a S$50 early-bird discount off the price of the Galaxy Tab when they make their purchase with a 3G Flexi plan at www.singtelshop.com/tab before 13 November 2010. On top of that, they will also receive a free Bluetooth headset, 16GB micro SD card and a pair of tickets to the exclusive Galaxy Tab post-launch party.

The Galaxy Tab has been preloaded with innovative apps developed by SingTel to bring the best experience for the consumers. With the De!ite app, users can download and view a selection of Singapore’s most popular magazines and charge the purchases to their SingTel bill. SingTel’s exCite Video app allows users to view the widest range of videos on the web. Other apps include SingTel’s AMPed social music service, MobileTV and Mobile Barclay’s Premier League video streaming service.
