Samsung Galaxy Note 5 not coming to Europe this year

Note5

In a surprising move, Samsung has decided that it will not be bringing the all-new Galaxy Note 5 phablet to Europe this year.

Samsung is apparently going to focus on the US and Asian markets this year and will be launching the Galaxy Note 5 in Europe only by 2016. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ on the other hand, will be making its way to Europe soon. Pre-orders for the S6 Edge+ are set to begin August 18th in the UK.

Samsung claims consumers in Europe aren’t very flattered by the S Pen stylus and the associated software features. Which is why it decided the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is likely to be a better bet for Europe as it ‘better caters to European market situation’.

Consumers in the US and Asian markets won’t have to wait much as Samsung will be launching the Note 5 this month in select markets. In the US, Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Note 5 on August 21st.
