Samsung Galaxy Note 5 dual-SIM could sport a microSD card slot

All info available so far more or less confirms the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will not be equipped with a microSD card slot. However, a new report from Taiwan claims the dual-SIM variant of the Galaxy Note 5 will feature microSD expansion.

While this is good news, you will unfortunately have to compromise on the dual-SIM functionality if you decide to use the microSD card. Samsung will reportedly unite the second SIM and microSD card slots, so you won’t be able to use a microSD card on the phablet unless you only use a single SIM card on the phablet.

This is still a rumor though, so we suggest you take the info with a grain or two of salt. Confirmation on the matter will only arrive after Samsung officially announces the Galaxy Note 5 at its unpacked event scheduled for August 13th.
