Samsung Galaxy Note 5 allegedly codenamed ‘Project Noble’

As Samsung’s latest flagship smartphones the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are starting to become available across markets around the globe, rumors about company’s next big release for 2015 have started surfacing already. A report published by SamMobile today reveals some information about the Galaxy Note 5 and a new Galaxy S6 variant that is likely to be launched later this year.

SamMobile has uncovered two new Galaxy model numbers that hadn’t been revealed yet. The first one is the SM-G928S and the other is the SM-N920F. SamMobile believes the SM-G928S is likely to be a Galaxy S6 variant since the model number is quite similar to the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge model numbers. The SM-N920F on the other hand is believed to be the Galaxy Note 5.

The report also claims that the SM-G928S is codenamed ‘Project Zen’ internally while the Galaxy Note 5 is codenamed ‘Project Noble’. As you might remember, the first Galaxy S6 rumors last year revealed that the handset had been codenamed ‘Project Zero’ since Samsung was working on the handset from the ground up. We cannot think of any possible explanation behind the ‘Project Noble’ codename though.
