Samsung Galaxy Note 3, next-generation Nexus 7 tablet certified in Indonesia

The next-generation Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Nexus 7 successor both have received certification in Indonesia, further confirming that both devices should launch really soon, within the next two months if our calculations are correct.

Samsung Galaxy Note III (2)

Samsung’s flagship phablet Galaxy Note III and the successor to the Asus Nexus 7, the Asus Nexus have both received certifications in Indonesia. Either of the Asus Nexus K008 or K009 might be the WiFi model, with the other carrying support for 4G LTE radio (mobile data). The successor to the popular Nexus 7 will pack an upgraded (and powerful) Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC, 2 GB of RAM, a high resolution 1920 by 1200 pixel display and run on the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The tablet will also pack a 5 MP rear camera and a 1.2 MP front facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on the other hand will pack a 5.7-inch or 5.99-inch display (depending on which of the prototypes get the green light, or perhaps all of them will be launched as different versions of the Galaxy Note 3… Which will suck). What we do know is that the phablet flagship will pack either an improved Exynos 5 Octa or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 3 GB of RAM, 13 MP rear camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on-board (Android 4.3 Jelly Bean would be a big surprise).
