Samsung regularly launches new smartphone lineups, and the Korean company is reportedly working on a new Galaxy C series of devices. According to a new report, the Galaxy C lineup will feature a metallic design similar to the one found on Samsung’s Galaxy A devices, and specs of the Galaxy C5 have leaked online through a benchmark.
The Galaxy C5 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch display, and the benchmark lists 4GB of RAM, the octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor, and Android 6.0.1. Those are a mix of mid-range and high-end specs, and rather similar to the Galaxy A (2016) lineup. According to SamMobile, the Galaxy C5 should launch sometime in May. It’s said to be exclusive to the Chinese market, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Samsung bringing the C series to other markets later down the year.
