Samsung Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 specs and pricing leak

Samsung Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 specs and pricing leak

Given the number of Galaxy C5 leaks in the last month, one would think Samsung would have made the device official already, but the rumor mill continues to churn out new info on the company’s new upcoming smartphone lineup as we wait for its unveiling. Today, details on both the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 have cropped up, including specs and the pricing for the devices.

The C5 and C7 are said to include 5.2-inch and 5.7-inch Full HD displays, the octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC, a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage, 2,600 mAh and 3,300 mAh batteries, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phones are said to have thin bodies (around 6 to 7 mm), with four color options: gold, pink, silver, and gray. We have already seen the silver and gold Galaxy C5 in pictures, and the C7 is likely to look the same in a larger form factor.

In terms of pricing, the Galaxy C5 will apparently cost 1,599 Yuan ($245) and the C7 will cost 1,799 Yuan ($276). This pricing is supposedly for online stores, which means the pricing in retail stores would be higher when the two devices launch in the market. Also, this information does come from a piece of paper, so it would be best to take everything with a pinch of salt, especially since some of the specs do no match what has been leaked previously.
