Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro to go official today, pricing leaks

It has been rumored that Samsung is working on a Galaxy A9 Pro, a more powerful variant of the regular Galaxy A9. According to MyDrivers, the Korean giant will be officially unveiling the Galaxy A9 Pro today. Its standout feature is said to be a 5,000 mAh battery, a 1,000 mAh upgrade over the Galaxy A9. Pricing is slighter higher at 3,499 Yuan, which roughly equates to $540.

Other specs of the A9 Pro are expected to be mostly the same. It should feature a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, an octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 4G connectivity, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The design is also expected to remain the same – glass on the front and back and metal on the side. Samsung should be making the announcement over the course of the day, and like the A9, the Galaxy A9 Pro is likely to be exclusive to the Chinese market.
