Samsung Galaxy A9 listed on company’s Iran website, could go official on December 1

Galaxy A9

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9 has finally been spotted on an official Samsung website. Samsung’s local website for the Iranian market lists the Galaxy A9 along with its key specifications and a possible release date.

According to the info listed on the website, the Samsung Galaxy A9 will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, smaller than the Galaxy A8. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 octa-core SoC and include 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. There is a microSD card slot provided, so the memory can be expanded further in future. Other confirmed specs include a 16MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.

The page lists December 1 as the release date for the smartphone, so we may expect to see the Galaxy A9 go official very soon. Along with the Galaxy A9, we also expect to see other new Galaxy A-series smartphones as well.
