Samsung allegedly developing a 12-inch Windows 10 tablet with S-Pen input

samsung
A new rumor out of China claims South Korean electronics giant Samsung is currently working on a 12-inch tablet running Windows 10.

If you remember, Samsung did have a line of Windows Tablets under the ‘ATIV’ brand in the recent past. Whether Samsung decides to sell the upcoming Windows 10 tablet under the ‘ATIV’ branding remains to be seen.

The tablet apparently features a 12-inch Super AMOLED display with either 2560 x 1600 or 3840 x 2400 resolution. Under the hood is said to be an Intel Core M 14nm CPU and 4GB of RAM. It will also support S-Pen direct input, just like the Note smartphones and tablets running Android.

According to the source, the tablet will be quite thin at a mere 6.2mm and will weigh around 600 grams. Unfortunately, the source didn’t reveal any timeframe for announcement, so it is unclear when exactly Samsung will unveil the Windows 10 tablet.
